Pehoski Purple Garlic
Pehoski Purple is a Polish, marble purple stripe heirloom, originally from Wisconsin. It boasts a lingering, hot flavor when eaten raw, that becomes creamy, buttery, mellow, and earthy when roasted. It's the perfect garlic for kielbasas, delicious paired with other meats, and in general is an all purpose garlic that can be used for baking and sauteing a variety of dishes. It produces beautiful purple streaking on 3+ inch bulbs, that has a long storage life, due to its tightly wrapped, easy to peel cloves. Sold by the pound. Marbled Purple Stripe
