Garlic in April

The old saying “April showers bring May flowers” is also true for garlic. In just a couple of weeks, my garlic has doubled in size and looks like it will produce a great crop.

In addition to flowers and garlic, the April rains bring the dreaded weeds. I’ve been busy keeping up with the weeding process which is a bit easier with my strawberry picker which I use during planting season and also to weed during growing season. It does help cut down on the tediousness and pain of crawling around on your hands and knees. If you’d like more information, just let me know.
